Los Angeles was wonderful and the wedding plans are galloping along. We feasted on wedding cake tastings and picked flowers and centerpieces and finally, the most fun, shopped on Rodeo Drive! Sarah and I enjoyed the sunshine and each other's company. Nothing is quite like the mother- daughter bond, with all its imperfections and loving closeness. I miss Sarah when we don't see each other for awhile and wish we were closer, but Virgin America was a very nice airline! Maryland was the same as I left it - COLD! The horses are fine, muddy paddocks but fine horses. Thank you Laura and Butch. Now it is on to Kentucky on Sunday for the Fasig-Tipton sale to see what is selling these days. Then the babies and breeding start too. Busy busy, I must remember to stop and smell the horses and wish for spring flowers!
