our new filly-3 days old

Here is a picture of our Valentine Day baby. She is now 3 days old and my friend says, "already a stinker". She is going to be a chestnut mare one day- beware! Mike's Paris adventure begins soon and I am planning our stag hunting adventure in Normandy.  Mike's government /office friends all laugh and remark that most people talk about the food, or the Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame Cathedral or The Louvre- only Mike and wife would plan a stag hunting trip in Paris! I have not travelled in Normandy that much, so have been told that this forest is hillier than the one south of Paris, where I previously hunted. The next day we are going to the D-Day beaches as this is right up Mike's interest area. Watched" The Longest Day" last night and I will be definitely awed by the cliffs at Omaha Beach, which the American troops had to scale. Should be an interesting trip. Squeezing in this adventure before the other new babies come in April.
