The culmination of our second "Gone Away with the Wind Hunt Week was the Hunt Ball in Augusta on Saturday night. We had the privilege of enjoying Southern hospitality and reverie for a second year and it was just as wonderful. The hunt on Saturday was the best one of the week with a fast coyote chase right from the first cast. We ran for a good hour far afield thru pine forests, crossing roads and over rough logged areas. The pack split on two coyotes and Barbara Lee and I had fun with our own hunt. I was able to whip with their Barbara, whipper-in extraordinaire, for the last two days and had a ball. We are "sisters " and have similar hunting styles- fast and faster!! The ball that night was another way to cement our friendship over drinks and dancing. Can't wait for next year.
